RTT works with a range of select, influential institutions to disseminate bridge-building tools and model productive engagement across divides among their constituents and stakeholders.
Our techniques are being utilized at companies like Google; professional sports teams like the SF 49ers; foundations and philanthropy-serving organizations; and agricultural associations in rural America.
Those we’ve trained are healing workplace rifts over politics; teaching tools for difficult conversations to their teams; and building capacity among leaders for joint problem-solving. We are supporting leaders to build microcosms of healthy pluralism with those most proximate to us—in our workplaces and board rooms; in our schools and communities; in our coalitions.
As part of a three-year partnership, Resetting the Table is training senior leaders of the Council on Foundations in service of their Bridging Difference initiative.
In the face of growing division, the Council seeks to support foundations to leverage their financial assets and convening power to “facilitate conversations, encourage unlikely collaborations, develop shared policy agendas, and…. bring people together across perspectives and positions” in pursuit of the common good—from strengthening democracy to preventing hate and violence.
RTT has offered multiple rounds of skill-building, coaching, and train-the-trainers training to the Council’s executive team and board, supporting them to model courageous dialogue across differences among their own stakeholders as well as to spread bridge-building sensibilities and skills throughout the philanthropic sector.
If you are interested in bringing RTT to your institution or community, we’d love to hear from you.
